Marion Co. authorities make several arrests, search for other suspects in ongoing drug investigation

On Saturday, December 1, the Marion County Sheriff's Office kicked off a weekend drug roundup dubbed Operation "Up to Snow Good". This roundup targeted Marion County dealers and others found to be in possession of narcotics. An early morning residential search warrant at 2210 Highway 13 South, Columbia, yielded over a pound and a half of Marijuana, Methamphetamine, Cocaine, and firearms. The resident, Bernard Smith, was placed into custody on multiple counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute while in Possession of a Firearm, and 2 counts of Sale or Transfer of a Controlled Substance.

Edward Forbes, Jr. of Columbia - Sale or Transfer of a Controlled Substance within 1500 feet of a Church
Karen Allen of Foxworth - Sale or Transfer of a Controlled Substance within 1500 feet of a Church
Ollie Dillon of Kokomo - 2 counts of Sale or Transfer of a Controlled Substance within 1500 feet of a Park
Steve Taylor of Columbia - Sale or Transfer of a Controlled Substance
Jarvis Conerly of Kokomo - 2 counts of Sale or Transfer of a Controlled Substance
Petcorrous McClendon - 2 counts of Sale or Transfer of a Controlled Substance
Kelly Sones of Poplarville - Possession of a Controlled Substance while in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
Still at large:
Andrew Holmes of Foxworth, Tajuan Kendricks of Columbia, Quitman Smith of Columbia, and Casey Jones of Foxworth.
