Four Soldiers putting up their Combat Boots for Good

CAMP SHELBY, MISS –The 177th Armored Brigade will recognize four retiring First Army Soldiers during a Celebration of Service ceremony at 1 p.m. at the Post Theater here Dec. 6. Soldiers being recognized for their service are:
Maj. James Faircloth
Sgt. 1st Class Bryan Bendelow
Sgt. 1st Class Donnie Downs
CMS Christopher Harry
Lt. Col. James “Tuck” Palmer, commander, 3rd Battalion, 315th Engineer Battalion, 177th AR Bde., First Army Division East, will serve as guest speaker for the event.“
The holiday season is the perfect time of the year to recognize our Soldiers and celebrate their accomplishments alongside their Families at Camp Shelby,” said U.S. Army Lt. Col. Jack E Vantress, commander, 177th AR Bde. “We’re honored to show our appreciation for their many years of faithful service as they end their military careers as First Army Soldiers here in Mississippi.”
