Officials: Barry still clinging to T.S. status; more rain for our area


Barry retains its Tropical Storm status with 40 m.p.h. maximum sustained winds. Barry is expected to be a Tropical Depression later today.

Location as of the Sunday 1 p.m. update: 32.4N 93.6W; that's roughly 15 miles east-southeast of Shreveport, Louisiana.

A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for the Pine Belt area through Monday at 7 a.m. The forecast for the rest of the weekend calls for a near 100% chance for thunderstorms. Officials say if you don't have to go outside today, please stay indoors.
