HPD makes another arrest in recent shooting death

Hattiesburg Police say in a statement the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested another suspect in the shooting death of Lisa Nguyen on Monday.

Eric “Lil E” Williams, was found hiding in an attic of an abandoned home in Jackson. He was arrested and transported to HPD for questioning.

Authorities charge Williams with capital murder, armed robbery, aggravated assault, and criminal street gang activity.

Authorities add Williams has been booked into the Forrest County Jail. He awaits his initial appearance.
