MDOT: Temporary closure on S.R. 13 in Lamar County

The Mississippi Department of Transportation says both directions of State Route 13, between U.S. Highway 11 and Old Highway 11 in Lamar County, will be closed for nearly all of the week of January 27th. The closure is necessary due to repairs being made to a railroad crossing, MDOT said.

"Detour signs will be in place to direct drivers," MDOT said. "Motorists are reminded to be on high alert for roadside workers."
