City of Hattiesburg mourns passing of Urban Development housing coordinator
Kévin Jordan, the City of Hattiesburg’s housing coordinator in urban development, passed away due to COVID-19 complications, Mayor Toby Barker and his administrative team confirmed Tuesday.
Jordan, 58, worked for the city for 13 years.
“Kévin Jordan believed in going the extra mile to help people, and many in our city benefitted from his compassion, work ethic and high standard of excellence. He treated his coworkers as family, and tonight, that family grieves for someone who cared deeply for all of us,” Mayor Barker said in a statement.
