Hattiesburg businesses reopening two months after pandemic began

Beginning Monday, May 18, the following will open: Nail Salons Following the same appointment measures, sanitization protocols and social distancing measures for hair salons and barbershops from Exec. Order 2020-6 (link: http://www.hattiesburgms.com/wp-content/uploads/exec_order_2020-6.pdf). Tattoo Shops Following guidelines identified in Gov. Reeves’ Exec. Order 1486 (link to text, once signed it will be added to the website: https://mcusercontent.com/08cb3e52aa1308600f84d49ea/files/e00c0c2e-b5c2-43d5-85e4-3c81cff2cb2c/Executive_Order_1486_Tattoo_Parlors_text_.pdf). Indoor Dining at Restaurants Following the 50% total capacity limitations, all sanitization and social distancing measures for outdoor dining from Exec. Order 2020-7 (link: http://www.hattiesburgms.com/wp-content/uploads/exec_order_2020-7.pdf). The executive order (No. 2020-8) stipulating these three openings will be signed this weekend and be added to the website. It's effective Monday, May 18 at 8 a.m.
