Jaycees, Vitalant prepare for blood drive in Hattiesburg

As the need for blood donations remains high, the Hattiesburg Jaycees are preparing for the annual Labor of Love Blood Drive on August 28th from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Vitalant, located at 805 South 28th Avenue in Hattiesburg.

Vitalant and the Jaycees will follow all social distancing measures, officials said. Donors are asked to wear masks during the blood drive, officials added.

"All donors will be entered to win a beautiful piece of jewelry," the Jaycees said in a statement to FOX23.
