HPSD's 2021 Hall of Fame induction goes virtual Oct. 7

The Hattiesburg Public School District Foundation will honor 12 distinguished alumni of Hattiesburg's city schools at their inductions into the HPSD Foundation Hall of Fame. The virtual event takes place on October 7 at 7 p.m.

Michael Marks, Chair of the Hattiesburg Hall of Fame, says this year's presentation will have all of the entertainment and flourish of a live version of the event.

Inductees include Logan Green, National Champion in Original Spoken Word Poetry; Angela White-Carter, Administrative Assistant at Lillie Burney Learning Center; Eyeshia McSwain, Alumnus; and Jacobi Daughrity, HHS Assistant Band Directors.

FOX23's Randy Swan, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2019, will host this year's event.
