School closings for August 31 due to Ida

COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICTS
\ Marion County: West Marion Primary School operates with virtual learning through September 7.
\ Perry County: Closed August 30 and 31.
COLLEGES/UNIVERSITIES
\ Pearl River Community College: All locations will remain closed on August 31. PRCC will resume normal operations at 8 a.m. Wednesday. All on-campus face-to-face classes will continue in a virtual format Tuesday, while online classes will continue as scheduled. Residence halls will open at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Colony Flow has a dumb little premise that somehow works. Ants walk from a nest to food, but they only move if you pull a colored block from the tray. The block has a number, so each path can only be used a certain number of times. Once you see the special tiles—hidden boxes, chocolate, food pipes—you realize it's a logic puzzle wearing a cute costume. I kept playing because I wanted to beat the level that beat me earlier.
I never thought I'd like a cat logic puzzle but the meowdoku answer is always hiding right where you don't expect it. You cross off cells, tap a cat, and suddenly every other region shifts. I usually play a few boards after lunch.
I usually play fast action games, but marble sort slowed me down in a good way. You have to watch the belt, see where marbles are heading, and plan your next drop. It is a different kind of satisfaction. Been playing it for weeks.
I was looking for something to play while waiting for coffee, and Game Is Hard was perfect. The levels are so quick, but they can stop you in your tracks. I think the thing that hooked me is the surprise factor. Like, one level asks you to 'find the red dot' and it's literally on the edge of the screen, but you have to swipe a curtain away to see it. I never knew a phone game could be so clever. I keep playing because every solved level feels like a little victory.
Pixel Flow has a calming feel but a challenging core. The visuals are clean and the feedback from clearing blocks is satisfying. I like that you have to manage the pig queue carefully. I’ve been playing for a few weeks and still discover new strategies.
