Southern Miss naming Ostrander as Eagles' next head baseball coach

Southern Miss' athletics director named Christian Ostrander the university's next head baseball coach. Ostrander will succeed the retiring Scott Berry. Berry announced his retirement this past week. Berry has been the head baseball coach for 14 seasons and will continue leading the Golden Eagles until their final out of 2023.

Ostrander has been the associate head coach for the last two seasons. Ostrander has been with the baseball program for six years overseeing the Golden Eagles' pitching staff.
