Stars host regional championship Friday

The Southern States S.C. Stars will play in the National Premier Soccer League's South Regional Playoff Game on Friday, July 23rd starting at 7:30 pm.

The Stars will host Naples United F.C. at The Oakes in Oak Grove. Naples won the Sunshine Conference after defeating Miami United F.C.

There are 16 teams out of 92 from across the nation left in this "win or go home" championship format. The Stars represent the Gulf Coast Conference.

If the Stars win Friday, they will travel to Tulsa Athletic, champions of the Heartland Conference, on Sunday, July 25th. The National Semifinal games will be held on Saturday, July 31st with the National Final on August 7th. The higher seeded team will have home field advantage.
