Storm shelters opening ahead of severe weather

Officials say the following shelters are open today (Mar. 30) until the storm threat passes...

\ Forrest County: The 361 Safe Room, at 946 Sullivan Drive in Hattiesburg.

\ Jones County: The 361 Safe Room, at 1425 Ellisville Blvd in Laurel next door to the Magnolia Center at the fairgrounds.

\ Lamar County: The storm shelter, at 105 Central Industrial Row in Purvis, will open at 2 p.m.

\ Wayne County: The courtroom at 613 Court Street in Waynesboro.
