MDOT Completes U.S. Highway 11 Bridge Replacement Project in Lamar County

Hattiesburg, MS - Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) Southern Transportation Commissioner Tom King announces the completion of a project to replace five bridges on U.S. Highway 11 between Lumberton and Purvis in Lamar County.

The project included construction of bridges to widen and enhance the safety of the roadway along Highway 11 from Lumberton to Purvis.

“The new roadway and structures are safety enhancements to bring portions of this road to current standards,” said Transportation Commissioner Tom King.
