Mobile Street Fair Preview

The Mobile Street Festival is back and is celebrating its 10th anniversary this weekend.

This year will include the always famous “Sho’Nuff” cookout, live gospel and jazz performances, boxing, and many activities for kids to enjoy.

If you think you are a master chef at barbequing, try and test your skills in the “Sho’Nuff” cookout competition. For those who which to participate in the cook-off, a $70 entry fee and your own personal grill will be required. The Street Festival will have fish, ribs, and chicken for the participants to cook this year. Celebrity judges will be tasting your food. First prize winners will receive a prize of $1,000. Second place will win $500 and third place will receive $200.

The festival is open to the public and begins this Friday evening.
