Hattiesburg police department working to protect the community

Hattiesburg, MS - This past month there has been fifty plus car burglaries in the city of Hattiesburg. The combined efforts of the Hattiesburg Police Depatment, Lamar County Sheriff, Mississippi Department of Corrections, Jones County Sheriff, and Laurel Police Department led to hard evidence and location of the suspects that are responsible.

Lietenant Traxler mentions that without the constant communication between different counties, finding the suspects would have been challenging. The Hattiesburg police department and local agencies are still searching the last suspect.
