"Stuff-A-Truck"

Laurel, Miss. - Tis' the season, and what's better than helping people who are in need of some holiday love...well Kim’s “No Bull” Dealerships sponsored a “Stuff-A-Truck” food drive.

Sales manager, Mike Johnson tells me why this food drive is a great way to give back to the community.

Johnson said "This would be an excellent opportunity to do something small right here at Kim’s Toyota, again two locations, it makes it convenient to come by here and do it. You can go straight to the places themselves to do it, but it makes an awesome, awesome feel-good feeling whenever you can come by and do these things at the dealerships."

The two dealerships will have a truck inside their vehicle showroom where you can donate.

Lance Chancellor, Director of strategic planning and resources for Mission at the Cross said, "Really appreciative for all their efforts and sponsoring this first annual “'Stuff-A-Truck' for Zac House, which is a dying to live ministries effort and also Mission at the Cross here in Laurel."

Chancellor told me how great of an impact this food drive can have for Mission at the Cross and Zac House.

Chancellor said, "At the Mission at the Cross today, we have 22 men, so we're serving 66 meals each and every day. Zac House, they have eight ladies currently in their program and five that are in a half-way house location. So there feeding 12 ladies, so in every meal, you have 12 ladies to feed there. So our food needs are very realistic and very large this time of year, both are kind of really at historic levels in terms of residence of the program."

The “Stuff-A-Truck” food drive will lasts through December 23.
