IRS scam?

Wayne County, Miss. - Wayne County Police are warning locals about an IRS scam that's been going on.

Authorities said the scammers are telling people they are the IRS and that you owe them money because you're in trouble.

Authorities said its pivotal to remember the IRS will not reach you by phone.

The IRS will instead send a certified letter to your home.
