12 NET raids four homes in Forrest County
FORREST COUNTY, Miss - The 12 Narcotics Enforcement Team (NET) raided four homes on Jan 30. They conducted a narcotics round-up of suspected narcotics dealers throughout Forrest County.
The investigation into this operation was initiated 10 months ago arresting 11 suspects for various narcotics violations.
During the investigation, 12 arrest warrants were obtained for 'Sale of a Controlled Substance' (Methamphetamine) and 'Possession of a Controlled Substance'.
Forrest County Investigator, Nick Calico says, "There was over 1 Ib. of methamphetamine and over 1.5 pounds of marijuana seized in this operation, with a street value of about $40,000 in methamphetamine and about $2,000 in marijuana. Six (6) weapons and over $8,500 of U.S. Currency was seized during the execution."
