Southern Geek Fest brings first comic-con to Pinebelt

HATTIESBURG, Miss - The Southern Geek Fest will soon host the first ever Comic-Con at the Forrest County Multi-Purpose Center on April 2 and 3.

Comic-Con promoter, Rafe White says, "Well it started out, we were like going to these cons all over the place and we thought, we can have our own con."

The event will feature special TV series guests from Walking Dead and Star Trek: Voyager.

Southern Geek expects 3,000 attendees.
