Mississippi flag removed in Oregon walk of flags display

SALEM, Oregon - The Mississippi state flag was removed from the Oregon capital grounds 'Walk of Flags' which displays all 50 state flags.

Oregon legislature decided to give the Mississippi legislature a chance to change the flag before taking down the current flag on capital grounds.

The Mississippi state flag has received negative attention due to the confederate stars and bars on the flag that symbolizes the state's history.

Since no movemement with the Mississippi legislature occured, the flag was removed after Oregon.
