Family pet finds plastic bag filled with marijuana

JONES COUNTY, Miss - A family dog brought home a plastic bag filled of marijuana to its owner on Saturday.

According to the press release from the Jones County Sheriff's department, the Jones County Narcotics Division was dispatched to the 200th block of Will Hayes Road.

The dog ripped up the bag and the bag's inside contents in the house. As the owner got closer to the bag, she smelled what seemed to be marijuana.

Jones County Narcotics Division is investigating the case, the owner of the dog is not a suspect.
