Mayor Magee signs Junior Auxiliary proclamation

LAUREL, Miss - Mayor of Laurel, Johnny Magee, signed a proclamation this morning at City Hall declaring April 3 to April 9 as Junior Auxiliary (JA) week.

They will celebrate the kick-off this year at Mason Park since JA refurbished the park this year as one of its projects for children.

Mayor Magee said, "Mason Park is one of the most used parks in Laurel. It gives children all over the place the opportunity to continue to enjoy Mason Park. We have organizations like JA that helps the city of Laurel and we appreciate it very much."

The ribbon cutting will be on April 5 at 4:30 pm.
