Edwards street fellowship encourages new way to donate

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - A new way of giving is now available at Edwards Street Fellowship Center (ESFC). Avid donators can make monthly contributions that will keep the organization afloat.

Executive Director of ESFC, Ann McCullen said, "This is way more affordable and in reach for a lot of donors and it starts with $25 a month and it's a monthly bank draft."

The monthly contributions that is drafted from the donor's bank account will go towards every sector of the center.

"The endowment fund helps sustain us for the long term, we've been around for 37 years and we would like to be around a whole lot longer and this just helps to ensure that this gives us a solid financial base" added McCullen.

The continued funds will help sustain the organization's growth. McCullen mentioned she is grateful for the volunteers but it does not pay for their finances.

She added, "Right now we are running over four lab tests for every person who walks in the door and we pay for that, so having secure funding for our future really makes a difference."

McCullen is hoping this new gift-giving opportunity will encourage others to donate their time and services.
