Hattiesburg murder suspect turns himself in to authorities

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Andre Baker, 24, turned himself in to the Forrest County Sheriff's Department Tuesday night.
Authorities were searching for Baker after a Texaco gas shooting on U.S. Highway 49 during Memorial weekend on May 30th.
A memorial day weekend shooting turned into a homicide after, 48, Madison Sims was taken off life support days later.
According to Lieutenant Jon Traxler, Baker shot Sims once in the head during a possible altercation and fled the scene.
