HPSD reveals finalists for superintendent position

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Hattiesburg Public School District (HPSD) revealed the names of the last 3 finalists for the superintendent position.

The three finalists are:

1. Toriano Holloway Assistant Superintendent of Starkville Oktibbeha School District.

2. Janice Johnson Assistant Superintendent of Biloxi Public School District.

3. Tony McGee Superintendent of Scott County School District.

According to Jas N Smith of HPSD all three candidates hold a PhD. "The board went through multiple rounds of interviews and looked at a number of factors, experience, and their vision and plan for the district."

The community can learn more about these candidates at the public forum. The public forum will take place at Hattiesburg High School Sunday, June 12th, 2016 at 4 p.m.
