HPD arrests two people for aggravated assault

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Hattiesburg Police said they recently arrested two people for domestic violence.

On Saturday, police responded to a domestic disturbance at the 200 Block of Chestnut Avenue. The victim said she was struck with a broom handle and was choked.

Christian Perry is charged with aggravated assault.

On Tuesday, police responded to a domestic disturbance at 104 Nugget Court. When officers arrived, they noticed the victim was bleeding in the groin area from a stab wound.

Lyneshia Fairman is charged with aggravated assault.
