HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Laurel's annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade will be happening Saturday morning.
A big turnout is expected to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's birthday.
The theme this year is “Am I my brother's keeper?”
Parade coordinator, Anthony Hudson said, "Each and every year we receive good feedback. They ask us to come back and hopefully it will get bigger and bigger and bigger. Dr. Martin Luther King fought for all of us. Not only Blacks, Whites. He fought for all of us. So, we should all come together and we should celebrate what he's done for this country as a whole."
Mayor, Johnny Magee will be in attendance.
There will be bands, motorcycles, horses, and much more in the parade.
The parade begins at 10 a.m. in Downtown Laurel, near the McDonald's.
