Teenager injured in shooting

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - One young man was shot Tuesday night in the Hub City.

Hattiesburg Police said people inside two vehicles were shooting at one another in the area of South 13th Avenue and Adeline Street.

Police said one teenager was shot in the back and was transported to University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, where he is currently being treated at the Children's Trauma Center.

Police said the teenager is now in good condition, but have not made any arrests yet.

The investigation is ongoing.
