PCSD stop search for missing woman, investigation continues with person of interest
PERRY COUNTY, Miss. - The Perry County Sheriffs Department said they are stopping the physical search for Glin D. Street, 46, who was reported missing February.
Sheriff Mitch Nobles said Glin was last seen by her live-in boyfriend Hugo Hugger. Officials said Hugger is a 'person of interest' in this case. Hugger is behind bars on a parole violation and was taken into custody Wednesday.
Nobles said when Glin was first reported missing, Hugger did cooperate with investigators, but then investigators lost contact with him for 3 weeks.
Officials said the community, surrounding law enforcement agencies, searched high and low for Glin, but no solid leads.
“We’ve had man searches, we had k-9 searches and we have exhausted all resources on the search for Glin Street" said Sheriff Nobles.
He added, "But at this time, we are kind of holding off anything on searches. We are trying to gather any information.”
Sheriff Nobles said Hugger was on out parole from the Mississippi Department of Corrections after being convicted of capital murder in the 80's in Perry County.
