Arnold Line Water appeals Public Service Commission's order to change rules and regulations

LAMAR COUNTY, Miss. - After a water fight between Arnold Line Water and the Public Service Commission, the water company officially filed an exception Tuesday and will appeal the Commission's request to change its rules and regulations .

The utility refuses to change its rules or remove the sign from its office that requires customers to have their bill account number to pay their bill.

Arnold Line also said it does not need permission from the Commission for its cross-utility agreements.

The company has agreements with the city of Hattiesburg, Lamar Park, and West over West Sewage to cut off water if sewer bills are not paid.

Arnold Line also said it won't and does not need to file a petition to keep them. The company has an opportunity to present its arguments before the Commission.

According to the Commission's office a date has yet to be set.
