Sweet Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church to host community cookout for Christ

Hattiesburg, Miss. - Join us Saturday, April 22, 2017, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for food, fun, and fellowship for the entire family. Sweet Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church will be hosting a “Community Cookout for Christ”. Our neighbors and surrounding community are invited to attend and enjoy a wonderful time in Christ.

This event is family friendly. There will be Bar-B-Q available and activities for kids to include a “Kids Zone” with Fun Jumps, Face Painting, and a Puppets of Praise Show. This year’s Community Cookout for Christ will also include special entertainment from local choirs, gospel groups, and other artists.

The lineup of artists and groups performing are Jimmy Payton and Sons, The Melody Aires, G & H Gospel Singers, The New Sunny South, Southern Wonders, Mary Kay Parks, and Lakken Johnakin. The purpose of the Community Cookout with Christ is to bring neighbors, churches, and families together with a hope that all will accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
