Craft Beer Festival attracts more than 30 breweries

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The 5th annual Craft Beer Festival will be happening Saturday at Town Square Park in downtown Hattiesburg.

There will be over 100 craft beers from 30+ breweries available for people to enjoy.

Andrea Saffle, Hattiesburg Historic Downtown Association executive director said, "The craft brewery industry is a very tight-knit industry to begin with.

We work through the two distributors that are here in Hattiesburg to make sure that breweries that they represent participate. So that really helps us to reach out across the country to bring other craft beers. We also look at breweries that are interested in trying to distribute within Mississippi, and trying to reach out to them as well."

The event starts at 5 p.m.

There will also be live music and food vendors.
