Perry Co. deputies find 7 grams of crystal meth

PERRY COUNTY, MS. - A New Augusta woman is arrested after Perry County deputies found 7 grams of crystal methamphetamine during a traffic stop Saturday.

Perry County Sheriff Mitch Nobles said Vanessa Ferguson, 39, was stopped on Thomas Creek Road. A K-9 unit found the crystal methamphetamine according to Sheriff Nobles.

Ferguson is charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent and bringing contraband into a correctional facility.

Her bond is set at $45,000.
