Polls open tomorrow for special election race House District 102
HATTIESBURG, MS. - Hattiesburg voters are headed to the polls Tuesday to vote for their House District 102 State Representative.
The special election comes after former State Representative Toby Barker became Hattiesburg's newest mayor beating four-term mayor Johnny DuPree.
The four candidates vying for the seat are social worker Kathryn Rehner, attorney Cory Ferraez, veteran Casey Mercier, and long time Hattiesburg resident Missy McGee. All candidates are running as Independents.
If no one gets a majority, a runoff will be held October 3. The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
