Domestic Dispute Turns Violent After A Man Shots His Wife

A Hattiesburg man is in jail after his wife was critically wounded Sunday night, in what police described as a domestic dispute.

59-year-old, Robert McNair was apprehended by police this morning after they say he shot his wife several times at their home on North Chancellor Street in Palmers Crossing.

The woman remains in critical condition at Forrest General Hospital. McNair is being held on domestic violence-aggravated assault charges.
