McGee to officially succeed Barker in House District 102 Friday

After winning a special election, Missy McGee will be sworn in as House District 102 representative this week.

McGee will be sworn in at the State Capitol in Jackson Friday morning at 9:30. She will then complete the term started by Toby Barker.

Barker became Hattiesburg’s 35th mayor earlier this year after defeating long-time incumbent Johnny DuPree in the municipal general election.
