Petal Primary's Canned Food Drive For Children's Task Force

Petal Primary school wants to help out hungry families in the community. Petal is currently accepting donations for canned food. Principal, Tessa Trimm wants her students to learn the value of giving back.

"The purpose of this is we want to give back to our community, and we talk to our kiddos all the time about how in order to be responsible, they have to help others," Trimm said. "So, it's a opportunity for us to serve and give back right here to our community."

Petal Primary will be accepting canned goods until Friday.
