William Carey University 125th Anniversary Convocation

HATTIESBURG, MISS. - William Carey University held their 125th anniversary convocation to start their winter trimester, Monday morning in the Thomas Hall Auditorium. The convocation normally happens during the being of school, but due to damage done to the university's auditorium by a January tornado, the convocation had to be pushed back.

"It feels great, our music building is completely renovated and restored, and the auditorium was able to accommodate our convocation today," William Carey University president, Dr. Tommy King said. "It fits well because we are celebrating the one-hundred-twenty-fifth anniversary of the founding of our predecessors."
