Small Business Saturday

HATTIESBURG, MISS. - While everyone is shopping big today for Black Friday, local stores want residents to remember to shop small tomorrow. Tomorrow is Shop Small Saturday, and Visit Hattiesburg is encouraging residents to visit the local stores. "Hattiesburg was just recently named as a top twenty-five holiday destination for shopping in the nation. So, we are really excited about that. Then we have Black Friday going on today and Shop Small Saturday going on tomorrow. We have local and national business all over Hattiesburg, from downtown to midtown to West Hattiesburg," Visit Hattiesburg's director of communications and digital strategies, Paige Crane said. "Small Business Saturday is a really big shopping day for our local businesses. It brings in businesses and locals together... and we really encourage people to come and spend some money with us here in Hattiesburg to help our local economy."
