The Pediatric Clinic Relocating to Hattiesburg Clinic in Tatum Park

HATTIESBURG, MISS. –The Pediatric Clinic, a service of Hattiesburg Clinic, will be relocating this month to Hattiesburg Clinic – Tatum Park, located at 101 Medical Park in Hattiesburg.

The Pediatric Clinic will be relocating from its current location at 1101 S. 28th Ave. in Hattiesburg to the newly constructed facility. The new facility is 21,134 square feet, with 37 exam rooms to accommodate the growing practice.

The new building was designed with pediatric patients in mind, offering lactation lounges for nursing mothers, a consultation room, a larger lab with multiple treatment rooms, and separate well-child and sick-child waiting rooms, each with their own saltwater aquarium.

“We have enjoyed seeing our patients and their families at the 28th Avenue location for more than 35 years, but our physician practice has substantially grown during that time,” said Greg Merritt, MD. “We have put several years of planning into making this new location a unique and kid-friendly pediatric clinic and look forward to sharing it with our patients and community.”

The new facility, located just off Veterans Memorial Drive near Tatum Park, is part of a developing medical campus where several other Hattiesburg Clinic departments will be relocating as well. The Pediatric Clinic specializes in care for children, from birth through 18 years of age, with the service of 10 physicians. Their hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with after-hours appointments beginning at 5 p.m. After-hours appointments are also available on Saturday, beginning at 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.; and Sunday, beginning at 2 p.m.
