Shelters from frigid weather opening in Pine Belt

Forrest County: Officials say the 361 Safe Room, located south of Hattiesburg on 946 Sullivan Drive, is now open and will remain open until Thursday at noon.

Jones County: Officials say the FEMA 361 Safe Room, located at 1425 Ellisville Boulevard in Laurel, will open at 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon and remain open "until the threat has passed."
