City Council approves Alan Howe as Water and Sewer Director, vote 5-0

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Hattiesburg City Council made a unanimous vote to approve Alan Howe as the city's new Water and Sewer Director Tuesday afternoon at City Hall.

Howe, currently supervises water and sewer operations for Pearl River County. He has 20 years of experience in leadership and customer service. One of his priorities will be to train city employees on good service techniques to create a sense of community for residents.

Howe’s first day is February 5.
