United Blood Services Visits JCJC

HATTIESBURG, MISS. - United blood services visited Jones County Junior College (JCJC) Tuesday morning trying to find students who were willing to give blood. All year, the organization has been saying that their blood banks are low, and they need more blood. Tuesday, wasn't any different. “Well, I’m a JCJC student here… and I’m here volunteering for everyone to come donate blood,” JCJC student, Kaitlyn Blue said. “Donating is a huge opportunity anybody can help with saving somebody's life, and one donation can save up to three people's lives.” “If you have not made it to the JCJC blood drive we would like to encourage you to please come on campus tomorrow,” United Blood Services’ Beverly Clark said. “Wednesday, we're going to be right in here in the wonderful P.E. building from nine to four.” Donors will receive a free t-shirt and other gifts while supplies last
