Early dismissals/closings for April 18

CITY SCHOOL DISTRICTS:
Columbia: Columbia Primary and Columbia Elementary will release at 12:15 p.m., Jefferson Middle School will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. and Columbia High will dismiss at 12:45 p.m.
Hattiesburg: Lillie Burney STEAM Academy will dismiss at 12:05 p.m.; Mary Bethune Alternative Center at 12:10 p.m.; Burger Middle School at 12:15 p.m.; Rowan Elementary, Thames Elementary, Hawkins Elementary, Woodley Elementary and Grace Christian Elementary will dismiss at 12:30 p.m.; Hattiesburg High will dismiss at 1 p.m.
Laurel: Laurel Middle School will dismiss at 1 p.m., Laurel High School will dismiss at 1:15 p.m., all elementary schools will dismiss at 1:30 p.m. All of Thursday's after-school activities are canceled.
Petal: Grades K-6th will dismiss at 11:30 a.m. grades 7th-12th will dismiss at 1 p.m. All of Thursday's after-school activities are canceled.
COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICTS:
Covington County: Will dismiss at 12:30 p.m.
Forrest County: Rawls Springs Attendance Center will release at 12:15 p.m. and all other schools will release at 1 p.m. Greene County: Will dismiss at 12:30 p.m.
East Jasper School District: Elementary will dismiss at 12:45 p.m.; Heidelberg High and Heidelberg Jr. High will dismiss at 1 p.m. Jones County: Will dismiss at 1 p.m.
Lamar County: Parents will receive calls with details for car line pickup. Bus departure tims: Baxterville at noon; Lumberton at noon; Oak Grove Primary at 11:45 a.m.; Oak Grove Longleaf at 12:20 p.m.; Oak Grove Middle School at 1:15 p.m.; Oak Grove High School at 1:25 p.m.; Purvis Lower Elementary at 11:40 a.m.; Purvis Upper Elementary, Middle School, and High School will depart at noon; Sumrall Elementary will depart at 11:40 a.m.; Sumrall Middle School and High School will depart at noon.
Marion County: Buses will leave campuses at 12:15 p.m. Car line will form at 12:30 p.m.
Perry County: Will dismiss at noon.
Smith County: Will dismiss at 1 p.m.
Stone County: Will dismiss at 1 p.m. All of Thursday's after-school activities are canceled.
Wayne County: Grades K-8th will dismiss at 1 p.m. Wayne County High School will dismiss at 1:20 p.m.
COLLEGES/UNIVERSITIES:
Antonelli College in Hattiesburg: Will close at 12:30 p.m.
William Carey University: All night classes at the Hattiesburg and Tradition campuses are canceled.
OTHER SCHOOLS:
CARES School in Hattiesburg: Will close at noon.
First Assembly Christian Academy in Richton: Will dismiss at 1 p.m.
Forrest County Agricultural High School: Dismissing at 1:15 p.m. All after-school activities have been canceled.
Lamar Christian School: Will dismiss at 1 p.m.
Presbyterian Christian Schools: Grades K5-4th will dismiss at 1:40 p.m.; grades 5th-12th will dismiss at 2 p.m.
Word of Faith Christian Academy: Will dismiss at 12:30 p.m.
