MDOT temporarily closing part of State Route 15 on July 23

MDOT says State Route 15 in Jones County, between Widow Landrum Road and Crowder Road, will be closed in both directions for maintenance. The closure will take place July 23 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

MDOT adds motorists should find alternate routes and always be on high alert for roadside workers.
