Kids Hub, Forrest County officials meet at open house

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Kids Hub invited several Forrest County officials to come into its facility to discuss ways that could benefit both children and the community Wednesday at an open house.

Executive director, Didi Ellis said, "Our goal here today is to express to Forrest County the work we do for the kids in their community. To talk to them about the kinds of cases that we've seen over the past year for kids that have been physically and sexually abused, and to try and really drive home that our services are needed in their county. And to try and just help them understand that the money that they could spend to service their kids would be necessary."

Among the people who were invited were Mayor of Petal, Hal Marx, Mayor of Hattiesburg, Johnny DuPree, and the Board of Supervisors.
