MURDER PLOT: Hattiesburg businessman targeted.

BREAKING: FOX 23 News can now confirm the target of that alleged murder for hire plot was prominent businessman and college board member Tommy Duff. Three men, 47 year old Howard Cameron, 46 Year old Glenn Davis, and 42 year old Victor Mitchell were arrested early Saturday morning by deputies from Lamar and Marion counties, and well as agents from MBI. They are charged with conspiracy in the alleged plot. In a statement released by the family today, " The Duffs were totally unaware of the person, the attempt, and knows very few details. We are very pleased with how this is being handled by authorities." Tommy and his brother Jim own several business enterprises including Southern Tire Mart, KLLM trucking, T.L. Wallace construction, along with auto dealerships.
