Local physician receives Patriot Award

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - One local physician received a prestigious award.

Hattiesburg Clinic urologist, Dr. Bradley Secrest recently received the Patriot Award.

The Patriot Award is given to a person who supports co-workers who are actively involved in the military.

Alisha Maxcey, Hattiesburg Clinic practical nurse and sergeant nominated Dr. Secrest for the award.

Maxcey was deployed with the National Guard in July and returned in August.

Dr. Secrest said he is honored and proud to do his work and support Maxcey while she was deployed.
