Local man charged with attempted aggravated assault


HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Hattiesburg Police responded to a shooting incident on January 20 in the 400 Block of Frederick Street.

Police said James Eaton was involved in an argument and pulled out a handgun. He was aiming to shoot the victim, but missed.

Eaton fled the scene, but police were able to find him and charge him with attempted aggravated assault.
